Child Support

The legislature has established child support guidelines which are set forth in Florida Statutes 61.30.

Other considerations related to child support include, but are not
limited to:

• cost of the premium for health insurance
• contribution to the cost of unreimbursed medical/dental expenses of the children
• cost of childcare or after school care
• life insurance to secure the payment of child support in the event of a parent's death
• tax dependent exemption for the children
