Visitation
The Eighteenth Judicial Circuit has established Shared
Parental Responsibility Visitation Guidelines and Related Matters (Amended)
for Local or Short Distance Visitation and Long Distance Visitation. The guidelines
represent examples of specific visitation rights and considerations applicable
to a majority of cases.
Child
Support
The
legislature has established child support guidelines which are set forth in
Florida Statutes 61.30(2002).
Other
considerations related to child support include, but are not
limited to:

cost of the premium for health insurance
- contribution
to the cost of medical/dental expenses of the children
- cost
of daycare or after school care
- life
insurance to secure the payment of child support in the event of
a parent's death
- tax
dependent exemption for the children
